The Spatial Development of Interregional Co-operation in the Danube Space

Overall, long - term objectives:

The project objective is to create the concept of spatial arrangement of the Danube area, on interregional level, in form of the purpose-oriented territorial-planning documents and to evaluate the social-economic development potentials of the Danube regions in a broader interregional context.

The partial project objectives are:

1. to create a basis for the optimisation of territorial-technical, social-economic and environmental relations of territorial units along the Danube river,
2. to create a basis for the establishment of the system interconnecting territories across Europe,
3. to create the top information basis on which the public administration authorities in the Danube area may rely when drafting their own intentions, regional plans and programmes,
4. to create conditions for the consultancy allowing to localise the potential investors´ intentions, as well as the possibility of providing information to the banking and financial institutions
